TEXAS CATTLE DRIVE

Old Chilsholm Trail Drive 30 Jan 2010-4 February 2010 £122 pp per day

Arrive Thursday 28 January or Friday 29 January 2010 - get a room and meet your horse at the Lazy F Ranch. Trailride starts Saturday morning 30 Jan 2010 at the VFW in Cuero, Texas. Plan 10 days and leave on Monday, 9 Feb 2010.

Cattle Drive Spring 27 March-5 April 2010 £1407 and Autumn incl tax and service charge excludes flights

Hands on be a cowboy/girl this programme includes mostly riding. Gather and work with cattle. The hours and schedule are more leisurely and relaxed not set schedule.

Autumn Cattle roundup 16-25 October 2010 gather and moving cattle get down and dirty - not for the feint hearted.

This ranch is suited to experienced riders and not single ladies due to the location of the accommodation.

NEW MEXICO Spring Cattle Drives 2010 - limited 10 riders

There will be two cattle drives for spring 2010. The first cattle drive is scheduled for April 25 - May 1, 2010, when they will be driving cow and calf pairs from Burnt Well to a ranch that they have leased. The second drive is scheduled for May 16 - May 22, 2010.

The Silver Spur Ranch in Idaho offers a number of genuine cowboy experiences the most popular of which are the Horse Drives. Having been collected from Idaho Falls or Jackson Hole in Wyoming (approx 4 hrs) you will be transferred to Warm Creek Cow Camp which is in an isolated location. There are few modern amenities here, rooms have propane lighting and outside loo's and open air shower. (not for the faint hearted this is for the true old fashioned pioneer experience). A couple of nights at the ranch and 3 nights camping out in tents. Excellent food and riding, suitable for more experienced riders as you could be in the saddle for up to six hours a day.
