Experience a taste of southern hospitality blended in with old west culture to make a relaxing and enjoyable stay to all who visit.
Horseback Riding: Coffee Creek has every imaginable Dude Ranch amenity, with the most popular activity still being Horseback Riding.
With direct flights from the UK to San Francisco, we would suggest a couple of nights stay in the City and then recommend hiring a car through us from San Francisco and exploring Northern California and combine this with a stay at the Coffee Creek Ranch.
The secluded cabins at Coffee Creek Ranch may look rustic from the outside, but the atmosphere inside is cozy. Each cabin has a theme based on its brand. Circle B, for example, is decorated with bears, Bigfoot, and butterflies! All fifteen cabins have tall pines and ceiling fans to help keep them cool. One ranch house room and one cabin are equipped for the handicapped. Most family cabins have wood-burning stoves.
This is an "off the grid" wilderness ranch where they generate their own electricity. To maintain the peaceful surroundings, the generator is turned off every night from midnight to 7am .
A professional chefs prepare nutritious meals from garden to table using only the freshest herbs, vegetables and fruits. Only the choicest, leanest Black Angus beef is served alongside their fresh baked breads. The menu is planned and prepared keeping in mind both children’s tastes and the hearty appetites of the adults in the family.
Hearty “Cowboy” breakfasts in the ranch house or out on the trail for those melt in the mouth pancakes! Weekly Steak Fry . Special diets from Gluten-free to Vegan can be accommodated if notified in advance. More exquisite dining is offered in the late spring and fall.
Ranch stays are for 6 nights from Saturdays or Sundays. Transfers are from Redding for around $275 return per car.
Typically, two rides a day are scheduled, and rides are divided by ability level. Private lessons can also be scheduled. Breakfast rides are the most popular, with the all-day “wilderness ride” to a lake the most spectacular! For a unique riding experience, the all-day ride may be extended into an overnight pack trip returning the next day.
If horseback riding is your pleasure and nature is your love, miles of trails will surely satisfy. Access to 550 miles of trails that lead through some breath taking scenery, the waterfall and Sugar Pine Lake rides are well worth the trip with picture-postcard views of the Trinity Alps Wilderness area. Plus 17 miles of the PCT ( Pacific Crest Trail )
