Wildcatter Ranch

Wildcatter Ranch and Resort has been offering an authentic Texas experience with luxurious accommodation since 2004.  Set in 1,500 acres, the property enhances guest experience by recently introducing a hands-on experience working the cattle, Pony Rides for children and Tomahawk Throwing. 

Compliment your getaway with Texas cuisine from the Dinner Bell Restaurant at Wildcatter Ranch.  The restaurant features hand-cut Mesquite grilled steaks, Chicken Fried Steak and many local favourites.

The accommodation provided are cabin suites or hotel rooms, the majority of which have twin queen beds, a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot with tea & coffee filters, hairdryer, bath soap, lotion, shampoo, TV, DVD player, self-adjusting central heat and air-conditioning. 

ADA rooms may be requested. Airport transfer from Dallas Airport are available.

There is a 3 night minimum stay and rates remain the same year round and will include breakfast and supper with a snack lunch left in your room, one ride per one full day paid, extra riding purcased locally. Alcohol is not included.  All accommodation will be in their cabin-suites.

When was the last time you went horseback riding?  How about a wagon ride to feed cattle?  Enjoy a trail ride or private rides with their team of knowledgeable cowboys. There are 25 miles of trails around the ranch.

There is one ride per day included in your stay, riding is restricted to walking but on the private rides which are charged for separately, you can trot and lope. Minimum age to participate in the horse riding is 10.

Sport clay shooting, historical Jeep tours, archery as well as miles of excellent hiking trails are available during your visit to Wildcatter Ranch. There are wagon rides out to feed the Longhorn cattle.  Perhaps you'd rather relax and unwind at the infinity-edged pool & hot tub or have a therapeutic massage.  

The property now offers mountain biking and running trails which will open up scenic views of the ranch that guests have never been able to see before.
