Silver Spur Ranch - Idaho
This is one of our most popular activities and quickly sells out every year. You arrive on Monday and will have three nights at the ranch and two out under canvas. You drive some 40 head of stock over about 60 miles of unfenced country.
This ranch is located close to the Idaho / Montana border and the Continental Divide. It is bordered by several thousand acres of State land and natural forests. There is no mains water or electricity so all the log cabins have propane heating & lighting and hot outdoor showers and outdoor toilets. A cook house for meals and a cozy bunk house or cabins for sleeping will make your experience more comfortable.
Monday is your day of arrival when you get to know your companions for the week, Tuesday is spent getting to know your mount and riding in the vicinity of the ranch. The drive starts on Wednesday and you will sleep out in pre-erected tents for Wednesday and Thursday night.
You return to the ranch on Friday for the farewell dinner and depart on Saturday usually around 9.30 after breakfast
